PROBLEM SIGNS · COMMERCIAL TRENCHLESS REPAIR
Warning signs your commercial pipe system needs trenchless rehabilitation.
Commercial pipe systems show specific failure patterns before they become emergencies — recurring backups, unexplained surface depressions, infiltration volumes that spike with rainfall, and visible deterioration at manholes. Identifying these warning signs early determines whether rehabilitation is an option or emergency replacement becomes necessary.

WHAT YOU'RE SEEING
Why early identification of commercial pipe failure pays off.
Commercial pipe failure rarely appears without warning. Systems that experience recurring backups, inflow and infiltration problems, surface settlement, or visible corrosion have been showing these signals for months — sometimes years — before the first emergency call.
LiningWorks identifies the root cause of each symptom using CCTV camera inspection before recommending any scope of work. Camera-first diagnosis means the rehabilitation scope addresses the actual failure mechanism — not a guess based on symptoms alone.
What each warning sign means — and what to do about it.
Select a symptom to learn what it typically indicates, which pipe types are most commonly affected, and how LiningWorks approaches each type of failure.
Recurring backups after snaking usually indicate structural obstruction — root intrusion, partial collapse, or significant offset — not a simple blockage.
Stormwater or groundwater entering sanitary sewer or process piping through cracks, failed joints, and manholes — spiking flow volumes during and after rain events.
Visible collapse sections, offset joints confirmed on camera — pipe segments that have lost structural integrity and require rehabilitation before further deterioration.
Surface depressions above pipe routes indicate void formation from repeated water infiltration through failed joints — a progressive failure pattern that worsens quickly.
Hydrogen sulfide corrosion in concrete and clay pipe, abrasion in stormwater systems — visible material loss on camera that reduces wall thickness and structural integrity.
Flooded inlets, overflowing manholes, and surface ponding during storm events indicate undersized or obstructed storm drain capacity — often caused by sediment and structural failure.
Why commercial pipe problems worsen faster than residential systems.
Commercial pipe systems carry higher flow volumes, experience more aggressive chemical exposure, and serve critical operations. The same failure mode that takes years to become an emergency in a residential line becomes an emergency in months in a commercial system.
Higher flow velocity accelerates joint and liner deterioration
Commercial systems running at design capacity experience more hydraulic stress at every joint and offset — accelerating the rate at which small defects become structural failures.
Chemical and thermal cycling degrades pipe materials faster
Process piping, kitchen drain systems, and industrial connections expose pipe materials to temperature and chemical conditions that residential piping never encounters.
Emergency repair in commercial settings carries business interruption costs
A pipe collapse requiring emergency excavation under a parking deck, loading dock, or critical access route creates costs that far exceed planned rehabilitation.

We had a plumbing emergency around the holiday's and called a local plumbing company. They cleared the line and quoted a pretty high price to dig up my yard and fix the damaged sewer line. The next day I found LiningWorks online and called Jeremiah. He was very helpful and confident they could fix my sewer line without digging. Seemed too good to be true. The lining has been installed, yard not damaged and looks to have resolved the break. Jeremiah even offered to come back and scope it at a later time to ensure it's all good. Highly recommend Lining Works for any situation where you can't or don't want to dig. Thanks guys!

LiningWorks was top notch. We had a sewer main that got damaged and was completely blocked up. They were able to clear the drain, remove all issues, and reline the entire sewer main without cutting out my driveway and yard. And they were able to get the job done in one day. I would and plan to do business these guys again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Where do I begin? Let's just say I had an absolute nightmare on my hands for about 5 years with my sewage. I had one company quote me 7k after he snaked my sewage line and from there I just kept snaking it every year. I dreaded the oncoming financial disaster but I bit the bullet and called LiningWorks. BEST home decision of 5 years. Jeremiah came out and tackled this chaos with grace and integrity. He got down to the root of it — after years of money, anxiety, and frustration he found out it was a city problem! I will definitely be calling LiningWorks when my lining needs replacing. Call them now, you will not be disappointed.

I am very happy with the work that was done and the clean up after the job was done. Jeremiah and Ralph are very professional and skilled in their craft. I received an estimate and the job did exceed the original estimate. I contacted them about it and they were very understanding and explained why.

Lining Works was excellent to work with. They were perfectly professional. They were organized, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. They took time to answer all of our questions. Pipe lining is an incredible option and the team at Lining Works couldn't have been better. They were also transparent, honest, and consistent with their cost/pricing. We couldn't be happier. We feel very fortunate that we found Lining Works. Great guys!

The main drain line in our airbnb kept clogging up, filling the house with an awful sewage smell. We had drain cleaners come out to clear the line every couple months but it finally got so bad we had to close off our bookings. LiningWorks were very prompt in coming out. We discovered tree roots had broken up our line. Our sewage line runs under a tree and 6ft deep through our crawlspace so digging it up was going to be a nightmare. Liningworks was able to cut the tree roots out and line the pipe without any digging so that it's as good as new. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing sewage line repair.

Camera-first diagnosis for commercial pipe problems.
Commercial pipe rehabilitation requires accurate diagnosis before any scope recommendation. LiningWorks uses CCTV camera inspection to identify the actual failure mechanism — not the assumed one.
CCTV camera inspection before any scope recommendation
Every commercial trenchless assessment starts with camera inspection. We identify whether the problem is structural, hydraulic, or infiltration-related before recommending any work.
NC Plumbing License #16952
Licensed for commercial and municipal pipe rehabilitation throughout North Carolina — including trenchless installation in pipe systems serving occupied commercial facilities.
Written condition reports for property and facility records
Post-inspection condition reports and post-rehabilitation documentation packages for your property records, insurance requirements, and facilities management files.
No excavation of commercial hardscape when trenchless applies
CIPP lining, root cutting, and hydro jetting are performed through existing access points — no parking lot cuts, no loading dock demolition, no pavement restoration costs.
Get commercial pipe rehabilitation started in three steps.
Camera assessment first — we identify the failure mechanism before we recommend any scope.
01
Call and describe the symptoms or known failures
336-477-3218, Mon–Sat 7AM–6PM. Recurring backups, surface settlement, flooding during storms — describe what you're seeing and we'll recommend the right assessment approach for the system.
02
Camera assessment of the affected system
We scope all accessible pipe segments, assess structural condition, and identify the failure mechanism — then develop a prioritized rehabilitation scope based on what the camera actually shows.
03
Trenchless rehabilitation with post-installation verification
CIPP lining, root cutting, hydro jetting, or spot repair — matched to what each segment actually needs. Every project closes with post-installation CCTV verification and a written documentation package.
