PROBLEM SIGN · COMMERCIAL TRENCHLESS REPAIR
Surface flooding and overflows indicate your commercial storm drain system has failed to capacity.
Surface flooding and overflowing manholes during storm events indicate a storm drain system that has lost design capacity — through sediment accumulation, structural obstruction, or pipe failure that restricts flow below design levels. Restoring capacity through trenchless rehabilitation prevents property damage, liability exposure, and regulatory violation.

WHY COMMERCIAL STORM DRAINS FLOOD
Four reasons commercial storm drain systems lose hydraulic capacity.
Commercial storm drain systems lose capacity through specific mechanisms — each identifiable by camera inspection and addressable through targeted trenchless rehabilitation.
Sediment accumulation reducing pipe cross-section
Stormwater carries sediment that settles in low-velocity pipe sections — accumulating over years until it restricts the effective pipe cross-section significantly below design capacity.
Partial structural collapse creating a physical flow restriction
Partial pipe collapses in storm drain mains create physical flow restrictions that back up flow upstream during peak storm events — causing surface flooding even in properly designed systems.
Root intrusion through joint cracks causing blockage accumulation
Root masses growing through storm drain joint cracks create a collection point for debris — accumulating material that progressively restricts flow between maintenance cycles.
Illegal connections or undersized infrastructure for current impervious area
Changes in site development and new impervious area that exceed the design capacity of existing storm drain infrastructure will cause overflows regardless of pipe condition.
Camera inspection determines why the storm drain system is flooding.
Surface flooding from storm drain systems has different causes with different solutions — camera inspection identifies which mechanism is causing the capacity loss before any rehabilitation scope is developed.
Camera inspection distinguishes between structural and sediment problems
CCTV inspection confirms whether capacity loss is caused by structural obstruction (requiring CIPP lining) or sediment accumulation (requiring hydro jetting) — preventing over-specification or mis-specification of rehabilitation scope.
Hydraulic capacity analysis confirms whether infrastructure is sized for current demand
Where flooding is caused by undersized infrastructure rather than pipe failure, we identify the capacity gap and recommend the appropriate solution — which may include new infrastructure rather than rehabilitation.
Pre-rehabilitation documentation establishes baseline for post-rehabilitation verification
Camera documentation before rehabilitation establishes the baseline pipe condition and flow restriction locations — enabling post-rehabilitation camera verification to confirm full capacity restoration.
Commercial property types with the highest storm drain flooding risk.
Surface flooding from failed storm drain systems affects commercial properties with high impervious coverage, aging drainage infrastructure, and properties in low-lying areas near natural drainage pathways.
Large surface parking areas with aging storm drain systems
Surface parking lots with aging storm drain infrastructure represent the highest concentration of impervious area per pipe capacity — making even modest capacity reduction immediately apparent as flooding.
Commercial properties in low-lying areas near natural drainage
Commercial properties in low-lying positions near natural drainage features experience higher flooding risk from both internal storm drain failure and external water surface elevation during major storm events.
Older commercial developments with original storm drain infrastructure
Commercial properties with original storm drain infrastructure installed in the 1970s–1990s are at age for pipe material deterioration — particularly concrete and CMP systems approaching or exceeding design life.
Retail properties with critical delivery and access requirements
Retail and logistics properties with loading dock and delivery access requirements face business interruption costs from storm drain flooding that exceed the rehabilitation costs many times over.
Retail strip center — recurring flooding resolved with storm drain jetting and CIPP lining.
A Charlotte retail strip center had experienced parking lot flooding during moderate storm events for three consecutive seasons — always in the same low-area near the main storm drain run. Camera inspection found significant sediment accumulation throughout and a partial crown collapse at one section approximately 40 feet from the main inlet.
LiningWorks hydro-jetted the full storm drain run to clear sediment accumulation, then installed a CIPP liner through the collapsed section. Post-installation camera confirmed full sediment removal and liner bond at the collapse location. No flooding has occurred since rehabilitation through multiple storm events.

“Parking lot flooding every time it rained hard for three seasons. Camera found sediment everywhere and a partial collapse 40 feet from the inlet. LiningWorks jetted the full system and lined the collapse in one mobilization. Zero flooding events through an entire hurricane season since.”

We had a plumbing emergency around the holiday's and called a local plumbing company. They cleared the line and quoted a pretty high price to dig up my yard and fix the damaged sewer line. The next day I found LiningWorks online and called Jeremiah. He was very helpful and confident they could fix my sewer line without digging. Seemed too good to be true. The lining has been installed, yard not damaged and looks to have resolved the break. Jeremiah even offered to come back and scope it at a later time to ensure it's all good. Highly recommend Lining Works for any situation where you can't or don't want to dig. Thanks guys!

LiningWorks was top notch. We had a sewer main that got damaged and was completely blocked up. They were able to clear the drain, remove all issues, and reline the entire sewer main without cutting out my driveway and yard. And they were able to get the job done in one day. I would and plan to do business these guys again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Where do I begin? Let's just say I had an absolute nightmare on my hands for about 5 years with my sewage. I had one company quote me 7k after he snaked my sewage line and from there I just kept snaking it every year. I dreaded the oncoming financial disaster but I bit the bullet and called LiningWorks. BEST home decision of 5 years. Jeremiah came out and tackled this chaos with grace and integrity. He got down to the root of it — after years of money, anxiety, and frustration he found out it was a city problem! I will definitely be calling LiningWorks when my lining needs replacing. Call them now, you will not be disappointed.

Lining Works was excellent to work with. They were perfectly professional. They were organized, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. They took time to answer all of our questions. Pipe lining is an incredible option and the team at Lining Works couldn't have been better. They were also transparent, honest, and consistent with their cost/pricing. We couldn't be happier. We feel very fortunate that we found Lining Works. Great guys!

The main drain line in our airbnb kept clogging up, filling the house with an awful sewage smell. We had drain cleaners come out to clear the line every couple months but it finally got so bad we had to close off our bookings. LiningWorks were very prompt in coming out. We discovered tree roots had broken up our line. Our sewage line runs under a tree and 6ft deep through our crawlspace so digging it up was going to be a nightmare. Liningworks was able to cut the tree roots out and line the pipe without any digging so that it's as good as new. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing sewage line repair.

How LiningWorks restores commercial storm drain capacity.
Storm drain capacity restoration requires accurate diagnosis before rehabilitation scope development. LiningWorks camera inspection identifies whether the problem is structural, sediment, or capacity-related before recommending any work.
Camera inspection identifies the capacity loss mechanism before scope development
CCTV inspection distinguishes between sediment accumulation, structural obstruction, and capacity limitations — ensuring the right rehabilitation approach is matched to the actual cause.
Hydro jetting and CIPP lining address both sediment and structural causes
Where flooding results from combined sediment and structural problems, LiningWorks can address both in a single mobilization — jetting to clear sediment, then lining structural defects.
No excavation of parking areas or hardscape
All rehabilitation work is performed through existing storm drain access points — no parking lot cuts, no surface disruption, no business interruption from excavation.
Post-rehabilitation camera documentation for property records
Post-rehabilitation camera footage confirming full capacity restoration — useful for property records, insurance, and future maintenance planning.
Camera assessment identifies the cause — then we address it in a single mobilization where possible.
