WHY HOMEOWNERS TRUST US

Why Charlotte homeowners call LiningWorks first about Frequent Backups.

We treat every frequent backup call the same way: camera first, flat quote second, clean fix third. Four things make our backup calls different from every other plumber in Charlotte.

Frequent Backups diagnosed by a licensed plumber

NC Plumbing License #16952. Every frequent backup we respond to is evaluated by a licensed technician, not a call-center rep reading from a checklist.

Frequent Backups confirmed on camera, not by guesswork

Before we quote anything, a sewer camera goes down the line so you can see exactly what is causing your backups — roots, collapse, grease — with your own eyes.

Frequent Backups fixed at a single flat rate

No hourly billing while a technician pokes around. One flat price in writing before we do a thing.

Frequent Backups repaired without digging your yard

Most backup causes can be jetted, lined, or cleared in a single visit. No torn-up lawn, no broken concrete, no mess left behind.

CATCH PROBLEMS EARLY

Frequent Backups warning signs you should never ignore.

Backups that keep coming back are not a plumbing inconvenience — they are a system failure in progress. Here are the four patterns we treat as a call-us-now situation.

Watch for these Frequent Backups warning signs:

  • Backups that return within days of being cleared
If a snake clears the backup but it returns in under a week, the actual cause is still inside the line — usually roots or a collapsed section that snaking can't fix.
  • Multiple fixtures backing up at the same time
When toilets, tubs, and floor drains back up together, the blockage is in the main sewer line — not individual fixture traps.
  • Backup paired with a sewage smell indoors
Standing wastewater in the line creates sewer gas that finds its way back into the home. That smell means the backup is sitting, not draining.
  • Backups that worsen after heavy rain
Rain-saturated ground forces groundwater into cracked pipes through joints, which overwhelms the line and pushes sewage back up.

COMMON CAUSES

The most common causes of Frequent Backups in Charlotte homes.

We have run cameras into hundreds of backup calls across Charlotte. Almost every case traces to one of these four causes.

How Frequent Backups develop:

Tree roots infiltrating the line at the joints

Hair-thin roots push into clay-tile or cast-iron joints, then fan into a mass that catches every piece of toilet paper and wipe that goes down. The most common cause of repeat backups in pre-1980 Charlotte homes.

Pipe belly or sag trapping waste

A section of line that has settled creates a low spot where solids collect. Every time enough builds up, a backup follows. Snaking clears it temporarily but the belly is still there.

Partial collapse or crack in the main line

A pipe that has cracked inward narrows the flow path. Waste backs up before it can pass the damaged section. Only a camera can confirm this.

Grease buildup in aging cast iron

Years of cooking grease coat the inside of the pipe and reduce its diameter. Combined with heavy household use, this eventually produces repeated backups throughout the home.

BEFORE & AFTER

Frequent Backups fixed: a Dilworth home, two years of sewage.

The family had called three different plumbers over two years. Each one snaked the line, collected the service fee, and left. When LiningWorks scoped it, the camera found a root mass at the 22-foot mark and a partial collapse at the 41-foot mark. We lined the full run in one day.

That is the pattern we see constantly: backups that keep returning because the real problem was never seen. A camera scope changes everything. One day, flat rate, no more backups.

We had a plumbing emergency around the holiday's and called a local plumbing company. They cleared the line and quoted a pretty high price to dig up my yard and fix the damaged sewer line. The next day I found LiningWorks online and called Jeremiah. He was very helpful and confident they could fix my sewer line without digging. Seemed too good to be true. The lining has been installed, yard not damaged and looks to have resolved the break. Jeremiah even offered to come back and scope it at a later time to ensure it's all good. Highly recommend Lining Works for any situation where you can't or don't want to dig. Thanks guys!

LiningWorks was top notch. We had a sewer main that got damaged and was completely blocked up. They were able to clear the drain, remove all issues, and reline the entire sewer main without cutting out my driveway and yard. And they were able to get the job done in one day. I would and plan to do business these guys again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Where do I begin? Let's just say I had an absolute nightmare on my hands for about 5 years with my sewage. I had one company quote me 7k after he snaked my sewage line and from there I just kept snaking it every year. I dreaded the oncoming financial disaster but I bit the bullet and called LiningWorks. BEST home decision of 5 years. Jeremiah came out and tackled this chaos with grace and integrity. He got down to the root of it — after years of money, anxiety, and frustration he found out it was a city problem! I will definitely be calling LiningWorks when my lining needs replacing. Call them now, you will not be disappointed.

I am very happy with the work that was done and the clean up after the job was done. Jeremiah and Ralph are very professional and skilled in their craft. I received an estimate and the job did exceed the original estimate. I contacted them about it and they were very understanding and explained why.

Lining Works was excellent to work with. They were perfectly professional. They were organized, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. They took time to answer all of our questions. Pipe lining is an incredible option and the team at Lining Works couldn't have been better. They were also transparent, honest, and consistent with their cost/pricing. We couldn't be happier. We feel very fortunate that we found Lining Works. Great guys!

The main drain line in our airbnb kept clogging up, filling the house with an awful sewage smell. We had drain cleaners come out to clear the line every couple months but it finally got so bad we had to close off our bookings. LiningWorks were very prompt in coming out. We discovered tree roots had broken up our line. Our sewage line runs under a tree and 6ft deep through our crawlspace so digging it up was going to be a nightmare. Liningworks was able to cut the tree roots out and line the pipe without any digging so that it's as good as new. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing sewage line repair.
