Sewer Camera Inspection that shows you exactly what is wrong — before we touch a thing.

COMMON REASONS

When a Sewer Camera Inspection is the right first call.

A sewer camera inspection is the starting point for every job we run. Four situations where camera-first is the only responsible approach.

Camera Inspection for unexplained recurring backups

If a drain keeps backing up after snaking, a camera inspection finds what the snake missed — roots, a belly, scale, or a partial collapse.

Camera Inspection before buying a home

A pre-purchase sewer camera inspection reveals the condition of the sewer line before closing. Catch a failing line while you still have negotiating leverage.

Camera Inspection for sewer odors and wet spots

Sewer gas and soggy lawn are symptoms. A camera inspection locates the exact defect — crack, open joint, or offset — within the first pass.

Camera Inspection before a renovation or addition

If a remodel will add fixtures to an older line, a sewer camera inspection confirms the line can handle the load before you break concrete.

CATCH PROBLEMS EARLY

Why a Sewer Camera Inspection is a timing decision.

Every week a failing sewer line goes without a camera inspection is a week of unknown damage progression. Four reasons the camera should go down sooner.

  • Camera Inspection before a soft spot becomes a sinkhole
An active sewer leak erodes soil. The camera locates the defect and its depth — before the void has grown large enough to be visible from the surface.
  • Camera Inspection before a backup becomes an emergency
Recurring backups tell you something is wrong. The camera tells you what — and whether the fix is a simple jetting or a full replacement.
  • Camera Inspection before a real estate sale falls through
Pre-listing inspections that include a sewer camera scope prevent last-minute renegotiations. Know the sewer condition before the buyer's inspector does.
  • Camera Inspection before a remodel changes the load on the line
Adding a bathroom or laundry room to an older home? The camera tells you whether the existing line can take the additional fixtures — before you break anything open.

SERVICE PROCESS

How our Sewer Camera Inspection process works.

A LiningWorks sewer camera inspection is not a quick pass with a consumer-grade camera. Four standards make every scope actionable.

HD push camera with real-time display

We run a high-definition push camera from the cleanout to the city tap. You watch on a screen next to the truck — not a monitor in a van you cannot see.

Footage and depth recorded at every defect

Every crack, root, offset, or collapse is measured to the foot and recorded to a USB drive. You leave with a complete documentary of your line's condition.

Camera Inspection includes pipe material identification

We note pipe material at every transition — clay tile, cast iron, PVC, Orangeburg. This directly determines which repair method is viable.

Written defect summary with repair options

After the scope, we walk through the footage with you and provide a written summary of defects and the repair options for each — before we quote a dollar.

SIMPLE PROCESS

The Sewer Camera Inspection process, step by step.

Same five-step camera inspection sequence on every residential job.

Accessing the cleanout to begin a sewer camera inspection.
Step 1

Access the cleanout and prepare the camera.

We locate the mainline cleanout — or install a temporary one if needed — and prepare the push camera. The scope begins from the access point closest to the house.

BEFORE & AFTER

Sewer Camera Inspection before and after: a pre-purchase case.

A buyer in Eastover had a sewer camera inspection run as part of due diligence. The camera found a partially collapsed cast-iron section and a root-filled clay-tile transition that a visual inspection would never have caught. They negotiated a $7,200 credit at closing.

Most pre-purchase sewer camera inspections pay for themselves — either by catching a failing line before closing or by confirming the line is in good shape and removing that uncertainty.

We had a plumbing emergency around the holiday's and called a local plumbing company. They cleared the line and quoted a pretty high price to dig up my yard and fix the damaged sewer line. The next day I found LiningWorks online and called Jeremiah. He was very helpful and confident they could fix my sewer line without digging. Seemed too good to be true. The lining has been installed, yard not damaged and looks to have resolved the break. Jeremiah even offered to come back and scope it at a later time to ensure it's all good. Highly recommend Lining Works for any situation where you can't or don't want to dig. Thanks guys!

LiningWorks was top notch. We had a sewer main that got damaged and was completely blocked up. They were able to clear the drain, remove all issues, and reline the entire sewer main without cutting out my driveway and yard. And they were able to get the job done in one day. I would and plan to do business these guys again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Where do I begin? Let's just say I had an absolute nightmare on my hands for about 5 years with my sewage. I had one company quote me 7k after he snaked my sewage line and from there I just kept snaking it every year. I dreaded the oncoming financial disaster but I bit the bullet and called LiningWorks. BEST home decision of 5 years. Jeremiah came out and tackled this chaos with grace and integrity. He got down to the root of it — after years of money, anxiety, and frustration he found out it was a city problem! I will definitely be calling LiningWorks when my lining needs replacing. Call them now, you will not be disappointed.

I am very happy with the work that was done and the clean up after the job was done. Jeremiah and Ralph are very professional and skilled in their craft. I received an estimate and the job did exceed the original estimate. I contacted them about it and they were very understanding and explained why.

Lining Works was excellent to work with. They were perfectly professional. They were organized, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. They took time to answer all of our questions. Pipe lining is an incredible option and the team at Lining Works couldn't have been better. They were also transparent, honest, and consistent with their cost/pricing. We couldn't be happier. We feel very fortunate that we found Lining Works. Great guys!

The main drain line in our airbnb kept clogging up, filling the house with an awful sewage smell. We had drain cleaners come out to clear the line every couple months but it finally got so bad we had to close off our bookings. LiningWorks were very prompt in coming out. We discovered tree roots had broken up our line. Our sewage line runs under a tree and 6ft deep through our crawlspace so digging it up was going to be a nightmare. Liningworks was able to cut the tree roots out and line the pipe without any digging so that it's as good as new. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing sewage line repair.
