"After three rounds of snaking in six months, LiningWorks did a hydro jetting service that actually cleaned the wall. Camera before and after showed exactly why the snake kept failing. No backup since."

Hydro Jetting 4,000 PSI clears what snaking leaves behind.
LiningWorks hydro jetting blasts grease, scale, root debris, and mineral buildup from your sewer pipe walls at up to 4,000 PSI, restoring full bore in a single service call and eliminating the recurring clogs that snaking only punches through.

WHAT IT IS
What hydro jetting actually does inside your pipe.
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water, delivered through a specialized nozzle at up to 4,000 PSI, to scour the interior walls of a sewer pipe. Unlike a snake, which punches a hole through a blockage, hydro jetting removes the blockage material entirely and cleans the pipe wall back to near-original bore.
Grease accumulations, mineral scale, silt deposits, and soft root intrusions that have built up over years are stripped from the wall in a single pass. The nozzle sprays forward to cut through blockages and backward to flush debris down the line and away from the property.
Hydro jetting is also the required pre-treatment before CIPP pipe lining. The liner must bond to a clean pipe wall; any debris, scale, or organic material left behind can cause voids in the liner adhesion. LiningWorks always jets before any lining installation.
Every hydro jetting service begins with a camera inspection so we know what we're cleaning (material type, blockage location, and pipe condition) before any pressure is applied. We don't jet pipes that are too fragile to handle the pressure.

CATCH PROBLEMS EARLY
Drain and sewer problems hydro jetting eliminates.
These are the four conditions that hydro jetting resolves completely, not temporarily. If your drain has one of these, snaking will keep it open for weeks; hydro jetting keeps it open indefinitely.
- Grease buildup that recurs within weeks of snakingGrease coats the pipe wall. Snaking punches through it but leaves the coating. Hydro jetting strips the wall clean, eliminating the surface grease returns to.
- Mineral scale narrowing the pipe bore progressivelyHard water deposits calcify on cast iron and older pipes. Hydro jetting removes the scale layer and restores near-full diameter in one pass.
- Silt and debris compacted in low-sloped drain linesFlat or low-slope runs trap sediment. Hydro jetting's backward-spray nozzle flushes compacted material fully out of the line.
- Soft root masses blocking the line between hard jointsFine root webs and soft root masses in the pipe bore are flushed clear by hydro jetting, though cracks and joint gaps that let them in require lining to seal permanently.
HOW THE SERVICE WORKS
How our hydro jetting service works, step by step.
A LiningWorks hydro jetting service is a fast, typically two-hour visit for most residential drain lines. Camera before, jet, camera after: done.
1. Camera inspection confirms what we're jetting and pipe condition
2. High-pressure nozzle inserted through cleanout
3. High-pressure forward-and-backward pass clears the full bore
4. Post-jetting camera confirms full bore is restored
BEFORE & AFTER
Grease-blocked sewer line, hydro jetted, full bore restored.
A SouthPark condominium with a kitchen drain that backed up monthly despite repeated snaking. Hydro jetting stripped 8mm of grease coating from 55 feet of 4-inch ABS. The blockage that was snaked through every month was the wall coating, not a discrete plug.
